What is it?

The Sniper Sustainment: Long Range Engagements I is designed specifically for technical long range shooting instruction tailored for the battlefield.  This course encompasses the military calibers of .300WM, .338LM and .50 BMG, along with their respective rifle platforms.  The Sniper Sustainment: Long Range Engagements I will incorporate a strong understanding of the rifle/cartridge combination, while exposing students to environments and situations encountered on the battlefield. 

Sniper Sustainment: Long Range Engagements II is an advanced technical long range engagements course that focuses on the more detailed aspect of long range shooting, as it applies to the battlefield.  The intent is to create a knowledge base that will increase the Sniper Teams capabilities in the most efficient and accurate manner.  A strong understanding of the tools utilized by the Sniper Teams greatly enhances the commanders overall intent.  The Sniper Sustainment: Long Range Engagements II provide the knowledge and situations for successful combat operations.

High Angle Engagements

All private unit course material is tailored to the individual unit training outcome.  The NRAWC training area is closed to public/recreational shooters with no photography allowed during the courses.  Every unit can train with relative privacy with little constraint put upon them.

 

What you will need:

  • Rifle w/Optic (1 per 4 Man  Team)
  • 500 Rounds Ammunition  (per 4 Man Team)
  • Pack with Scabbard/Drag Bag  (minimum of 1 per team)
  • Rucksack or Equivalent (1 per person)
  • Load Bearing Equipment        1 per person
  • Hydration System        1 per person
  • Ghille Suit/Concealment Equipment
  • Spotting Scope w/Tripod
